According to a report from the German publication Spiegel, Audi is considering plans to build a new factory\u2002in the United States. <\/p>\n

The move is a clear attempt to ease trade tensions with the U.S. government, as tensions continued to escalate, with President Donald Trump threatening tariffs<\/a> on European automakers, prompting concerns about factory closures.<\/p>\n

The company has several options\u2002that it is reviewing, including the option to build its production plant in the southern US.<\/p>\n
